A stubborn little one

We went for a 3D ultrasound yesterday at lunch only to learn that one she is definitely a girl (no questions about that, the tech said she wished all babies showed their parts like her, no shyness there!) and two that she is a stubborn little one! Wonder who she gets that from :) We were supposed to have a 15-20 minute ultrasound session but it turned into over 30 minutes because BGO would not come out of her little ball, no wonder my belly is so tiny! She was active the entire time but all she wanted to do was play with her hands, feet and knees in front of her face. How can she be comfortable? No wonder I am feeling all of the movement in one area and my belly is sometimes lob sided. The ultrasound tech said that some babies keep themselves wrapped up in a ball the entire time. Here are a few shots of her hiding from us.

What did we learn about her?

- Her heartbeat was in the low 140's (141-143). A little lower than it has been at my doctors appointments.

- She has what appears to be big feet and long legs!

- She is growing hair follicles, not sure if she will have hair but the follicles are forming.

- She is still very skinny and should be starting to get more fat over the next couple of weeks, her skin is still very translucent and you can see her bones and ribs real well.

- SHE LIKES TO BE CURLED UP!

These are the best shots they could get of her face, not clear enough to try and tell who's facial features she has.

We also got over 30 minutes in video of the little munchkin. There are three videos (we had to break them up because of their size) that all pretty much show the same thing! There are parts in the video that just show a black screen, this was when I was trying to do different things to get her to move and uncurl but none of it worked!

We watched the video again last night and technology is just AMAZING! Mommy and Daddy love you BGO!
