18 months

Well a re-design of the site hasn't happened yet. Work has been crazy this summer, I usually use my lunch to update and work on pictures and posts but that hasn't happened. Hopefully in the next few weeks things should start to calm down and hopefully I can keep this thing updated more regularly since there is plenty in store! Let's rewind to month 18, seems like an eternity ago so it is going to be a very short post.

We started swim lessons this month at our local swim school. Someone was already a little fish the first lesson in. She is not afraid of the water and wants to constantly jump in. I think she thinks she can already swim because she is fearless!

Father's Day was this month. Poor daddy didn't get a post because I was too busy. We went to our favorite breakfast spot and then to Central Market to get daddy a Fred Flintstone size piece of meat for dinner...it was YUMMY!

J had her 18 month check-up. She is doing great, up to 24.5 pounds and only had to get one shot this month, her last shot until she is four, so it was a pretty easy visit with minimal crying!

Someone has perfected the ABC's by herself and is doing very well in school and in her new class. She is the leader of her class (would you expect less) and enjoys going to school. She is learning new things daily and surprises us when she gets home and says or shows us something new.

She is doing better at the table using her utensils. She is a very good little eater and had her first piece of corn on the cob, although she couldn't do too much damage to it since she doesn't have many teeth!

Here are a few pictures from the month. I wasn't much of a shutterbug!
