36 months

A certain someones birthday lasted for about two weeks this year! We celebrated at school and home, celebrated with Nana and Pop Pop and then celebrated with everyone at Disney World, isn't that how birthdays should be celebrated! We celebrated the day after C's actual birthday with Nana and Pop Pop. We started the morning off at the Home Depot Kids workshop where Pop Pop joined us to make that mornings craft, which turned out to be a flop. Neither daddy or Pop Pop could get the box put together but C didn't care, she enjoyed hammering away at the nails! We went to lunch at Star Fish out by the beach, the girls got happy meals along the way and enjoyed eating outside and watching the many pelicans that were out that day looking for leftovers. After lunch we went back to Nana and Pop Pops for cupcakes.

A week later we headed to the happiest place on earth to continue the celebrations, this trip was like no other we have taken, all of the cousins joined in the celebrating with a fun-filled FULL day at the Magic Kingdom. When four of the six cousins all have birthdays within two weeks of each other it calls for a grand celebration! The first two days just the four of spent time at the MK and Epcot, C was so excited to wear her new Elena dress to meet Princess Elena. She giggled when she saw her and loved "spinning' with her. Of course she had to spend her first Mickey money on an Elena doll, who went everywhere with us the rest of the trip. She wasn't quite yet tall enough to ride Soarin so they gave her a special Fast Pass so that when she is tall enough we can all ride, we got to ride the boat while Daddy and J went on. She had a great time in the Magic Kingdom with her cousins, she loved meeting the characters and dancing to the parades. My favorite part of the day was when she fell asleep right in the middle of watching the fireworks, we had finally worn this kid out, while she thinks she is a big kid, sometimes she is still little!

We had great weather this month! There was weekly strawberry picking and daddy had his first visit to the farm. Even though we go every week she still wants a picture in the wood cut out each time, doesn't that get old? She has become a great little broccoli spotter and loves to help find tomatoes too, if she would only pick the non rotten ones! We checked out a new park down in Sarasota, Circus Park where C loved to play on the stepping stones, they had ropes she could hold on too so she could do them by herself, she was very proud she could! We went with some friends one morning to Selby Gardens where she got to feed koi, wander the gardens and do some arts and crafts. I think she enjoyed picking the shells on the shell path the best! We are gearing up for swim seasons and the girls took their new suits for a test drive in the spa, pink and approved by both!

C had her three year old check-up this month, it was a no shot visit so it was a good visit! She was  a big girl and so brave and well behaved. She wasn't scared one bit and was interested in all the nurse and doctor did. She stayed still so that they could check her iron with the cool finger thingy they have (and not have to get pricked) and did her first pee pee in a cup. She is growing great and is up to 33 pounds and 38.5", a few more months and she will be at the 40" mark for some of the big kid rides at Disney (she is big enough now to ride the Mine Train so I might have to get her on there). She got lots of stickers, some animal crackers and a lollipop when we were done, and Chick-fil-A with mommy for lunch!

Someone had her third trip to the dentist this month, third times the charm! We finally had no screaming so that was a step in the right direction. C sat on my lap and watched J go first and be such a big girl, she said she was going to be a big girl and then it was her turn. She wouldn't sit by herself so she laid on mommy's lap. Of course baby Mickey had to come with us to get his teeth cleaned too, C got to brush his and then it was her turn, she wouldn't let them near her with the electric toothbrush but she did let them brush her teeth with a new Belle toothbrush. No flossing or fluoride this time, the teeth brushing was a big step! Then the dentist came in and checked her out, again no screaming and she actually cooperated a bit and opened her mouth on her own for him to check and count her teeth. All was good for what he could see, hopefully next visit is a little more successful.

We had a very busy month and someone ended up with a little cold from all of the activities and the pollen that was in the air. Her allergies were in full bloom this month and poor thing was going through boxes of tissues! She always thinks she has a fever when she doesn't feel well and asks you constantly to take her temperature, she knows what the three different colors mean and is happy when its green. .Her foot grew like crazy, either that or mommy was really not paying attention and we had to move her up one and a half sizes in sneakers! Even the Crocs she just got for Christmas are small! The kid is growing like a week, please slow down just a little!

Here are the pictures from the month.
