Looking back this month had a lot of milestones and exciting things happen. J's night time bottle was taken away and replaced with a big girl cup of milk. It just so happened we didn't get home for her bottle one night, gave her a cup the next night and it wasn't much of an issue. Sure she asked for her bottle but when she was told it was gone and she could have a cup of milk she was like "ok" and didn't really think twice about it. Easy kid!
The anticipation that had been looming for the last 14 weeks was found out, what type of big sister J would be. Would she be a big sister to a little brother or sister? I had my inclinations from about the 8 week mark that we had another girl cooking, all of my symptoms had been the same as last time, J was saying she was going to have a sister 9 out of 10 times you asked her, but daddy's bet was on a boy. I wanted to wait and not find out the gender at our ultrasound but daddy was sweating bullets and wanted to know. So we found out but let J partake in a little gender reveal that we recorded and sent out to the family to announce 2.0's sex. Of course the girls were right!
Grandma and Grandpa came for a visit this month. We celebrated Grandpa's birthday with steak and cupcakes and went to the zoo. J is still not sure about feeding the giraffes but loves looking at all the rest of the animals. She had fun playing in the kids area, feeding the fish and playing in the water area.

We are excelling on the learning front this month. She has become quite the chatter box and I am surprised that she does not talk in her sleep! She now knows her first and middle name, she is counting to 10 to all by herself, loves to read, and can say the days of the week, which surprised the heck out of me when she started to sing the song. Daddy is teaching her more words in Portuguese and it is "so cute" as she would say (her new favorite phrase), to hear her try and pronounce things. We've gone through a clothes fighting phase and I've decided if she wants to look like Punky Brewster then so be it, she's the one looking like a fool not me!
J continues to do really well in her swim classes, she is really the only one in her class that I would classify as a swimmer and is ready to move up to the next class without mommy in the water.
Football season finally started again and someone is being brainwashed into being a Canes fan. Daddy is teaching her to throw up the []_[] and say "Go Canes". We're only a week into football season and are already hearing "Daddy no football" from her!
Here are the pictures from the month. The video's are embedded in the post and you need to click on the orange words.
