Week 9

Someone is growing by leaps and bounds and getting too big too fast. This commercial is on every morning when I watch Kathie Lee and Hoda and it bring me to tears every time knowing that my last baby is growing way to fast...damn you Johnson & Johnson!

This last week we've had some major progress in a few areas. For starters someone is learning that sleep is good and sleeping anywhere from 5-6am after her 10:30pm dream feed. Just like when J did for the first time I was startled when she finally woke up and I looked at the clock. Now if we can only get her to sleep in her crib...but I guess I'll take a sleeping baby in a rock-n-play over a fussy baby in a crib, I think I'll let daycare be the bad guys in a few weeks and transition her to a crib for nap time.

We are making progress with tummy time and she is able to hold her head up for longer without fussing. We are still a ways from rolling over but sooner or later she'll get it. She loves being on her back on her playmat and will stay there for like 20-30 minutes entertaining herself with the animals. She has started to reach for the toucan and elephant and swat them around. She's also entertained with the bouncy seat and the lights and swatting the animals on there too. She's becoming very content at self play which is a good thing and allows me to get some things done!

We've also finally started setting up C's room. We moved the crib and changing table out of our room and we have begun to organize the mess. Eventually it will get done and we'll post some pictures. It's nice to have space in our room again, hopefully we can get the kid and rock-n-play out soon!

And for C's renditions of "Let it Go"! We are in trouble...another blabber mouth!
