After only two weeks at school Miss C had her first call for pick-up from daycare on Monday. She ended up staying home with mommy and daddy (who were trying to juggle work as well) and had a couple of trips to the doctor to figure out what was wrong (heck we've now almost met our family deductible for the year). Besides not wanting to eat and pooping water constantly Miss C was happy as a clam which was puzzling to the doctor. We were able to keep her hydrated enough to not warrant a trip to the children's hospital but she did lose a little weight, she was down to 12 pounds, 6 ounces when I had her into the doctor on Tuesday and then lost another ounce when we went back in on Friday.
I probably had to do the grossest thing I have ever done and collected four vials of stool samples for them to test since she wasn't getting any better. The things you don't do for your kids and gag while doing so! Sorry if I am grossing you out but it's my blog to remember what has gone on! We spent a poopy weekend at home hoping that C would get better but she didn't. Even J kept saying "C can go back to school when she stops pooping!".
She did get some good play mat time in this week and we were hoping that she would be rolling from her back to her tummy, she is close but can't get that last push. She'll probably figure it out when she goes back to school.
Someone is also becoming quite the talker (wonder where she gets that from) and discovering new registers in her voice daily. She is blabbering all different vowels and since she hasn't been interested in eating this week she thinks she can just talk instead while you try and feed her.
Here are the pictures from the week. I'm discovering that it is becoming harder and harder to remember to take pictures. Hopefully with the summer coming and spending more time outside I'll remember my camera!
Big changes :). So glad she is feeling better the little angel XO
