Week 40

Someone turned 9 months old this week which meant a trip to the doctor for her check-up. C is growing right on schedule and had a great check-up, she only had to get one shot, the second does of the flu. She is just over 19 pounds (19.3) and 70% for her age and she is almost 30 inches which is 95% for her age (actually looking back at J's 9 month check-up she was in the 90%)! I've recently noticed when she is in her crib sleeping that she looks long, maybe she'll get some of the taller genes? We've also moved her completely out of the bucket car seat and installed the bigger seat in the second car.

She is doing well with her three meals and 4 bottles a day (and some snacks here and there). She's doing good and I'm making her try new food, I love the faces she makes when I give her something she doesn't like, squash, zucchini, mashed sweet potato, but she sorta liked the sweet potato when I just cubed it. I did give her a chocolate chip cookie which she loved can't you tell? She even managed to get a chip up her nose, I was mean and didn't take it out before I shot these pictures (and by the time we went to get it out of her nose it was melting, I know TMI but it's my blog!).

The girls continue to attempt to play together. C mainly bothers J with getting into her toys, destroying her puzzles, ripping out coloring pages (and trying to eat crayons), stealing her food from her kitchen, she is not really interested in her own toys and I don't blame her when there are more interesting ones to play with.
