Week 20

This is going to be a quick post from this past week. The creative juices just aren't flowing and instead of not writing a post (I can't do that!) I'm going to make it short.

The week started with Good Friday and mommy having off from work. YAY for not having to work and daycare being closed too. Although I am told that days off + daycare being open = a great day for mommy! Not sure about that just yet, I'll stick to spending a whole day with Ms. J whenever I can get it right now. We hung out at home for most of the day and then daddy cut out of work early so we could hit the mall and J's first happy hour! She was just a ham while we were at McCormick & Schmick's, laughing it up and drawing attention to our table, no we did not sit at the bar with a baby, but did sit at a booth in the bar!

Saturday was an uneventful day, for the sense that I can't remember what all we did it had to be uneventful. I did put J's highchair together. She has been hanging in her stroller for the last few weeks while we eat so that she is at our level and since she is now sitting up well with support, I figured it was time. Oh, now I remember, we had early Easter with the family and facetimed with everyone so that J could open ALL of her Easter gifts!

Sunday was Easter. We had a quiet morning and I tried to get a few cute new pics of J in the basket but someone was not cooperative! Later in the afternoon some friends came over for a BBQ.

Other than that the week was pretty boring, we are all cleaned up from our mess and the house is back to normal again. Speaking of normal...mommy fit back into a couple of pair of her pre-pregnancy work pants! The home workouts are working! Not everything fits yet, but there is hope :)

Ms. J is doing well in daycare, she is just exhausted when she comes home and can hardly stay awake for her last bottle. Everyday she gets more of a personality and is just such a joy to be around.
