Week 50

Someone is still hasn't let go yet, she'll stand for a few seconds on her own then looks at the floor and drops down to crawl (we call her two step since that is all she will take). Everyday we think "today is going to be the day", guess she isn't ready yet. Not walking is something that is keeping her a baby just a little but longer. Our furniture continues to be her walker as she loves rearranging things!

She had her second dose of the flu shot on Friday and the nurse confirmed that she did have some sort of virus last week when she wasn't feeling well. What we thought was heat rash she said was a rash caused by a virus.

New foods continue to be introduced and she is doing very well, no more baby food even at school. She had her first turkey burger at Twisted Root and went to town on the bun! We've also started to wean off formula and start mixing in whole milk. She is really sucking down her bottles now, I'm just not letting go of the bottle before her first birthday. Quite frankly the only time she will sit with you and somewhat snuggle is when she has her bottle, otherwise she is Miss Independent and wants to do her own thing. I've also started letting her use the spoon a little on her own and she gets it into her mouth (I know she is smart). But she also likes to drop it on the floor

The time change didn't effect her at all, we thought we were going to be up at 5:30am on Sunday but she was an angel and slept until 7am, which she is starting to do more now these days. We are having to wake her up most mornings for school since she isn't napping a much during the day and sleeping longer at night. She is officially in all 9 month clothes now, I packed up the six month clothes (even though some things still fit her) so you'll be seeing her in newish clothes. She recognized a ball this week and now says ball too! Getting ready for her first birthday, invitations are done (and super cute)!
