Week 4

Monday we spent the day chilling at home with Aunt Boo and Uncle Mikey. Mommy put Uncle Mikey to work on the picture wall so that there is a place for all of these new pictures we are taking. Later that night Uncle Mikey headed back home, I tried to bribe him to get him to stay since he is the "J whisperer"!

Tuesday was Aunt Boo's last full day with us. J stayed home from school and we ventured to the mall (after a meltdown by both children who did not want to get in their car seats) for lunch, La Madeline of course! J was great and well behaved and C slept the entire time. Lunch time is the perfect get out of the house time as I know she will sleep while we are gone. We also go to test out the new double stroller for the first time with both kiddos, for the money it isn't bad and I am sure we will get good use out of it. 

Wednesday Aunt Boo left and we are now on our own during the days until Nana and Aunt Fonz's visits. We've had great visits with the family but it will be nice to have about a week to regroup and figure things out on our own for a few days before the next wave of company.

The rest of the week was spent doing the usual, feeding, playing, changing, laundry, baths, cooking, house tidying. I have a full report of the day to give to F when he comes home and asks me what I did all day! My friend/co-worker Miss A came over for lunch on Friday and it was good to catch-up with her and have someone other than the walls or C to talk too!

I introduced C to the play mat this week, someone else wants to play in it too even though she is WAY to big, monkey see, monkey do! C is not a big fan of the mat nor is she a fan of the tummy time mommy is now forcing on her daily. And I got the much needed to take picture of C this week, I wish I had a better picture of J with this bib!

Don't you wish we could all sleep like this?
