This week C got to meet one of her cousins! Aunt Fonz and K arrived on Monday for a girls week in Big D. While the girls played the boys were back in Florida.
The week flew by and we packed as much as we could into their visit. Tuesday we took the kids and headed to the Arboretum, J and K had a great time, the most C saw was when she was out of her stroller to eat, the wind was wicked making it a bit chilly! The spring flowers have started blooming and it was just nice to be out in the fresh air, hopefully our colder weather is done!
Wednesday mommy started back to work, just one day a week in the office until the beginning of May (daddy will be staying home with C on Wednesdays), C hung out with Aunt Fonz and K for the day. The played inside, played outside and even took a walk. Aunt Fonz also helped mommy out in starting to get C used to the Ergo carrier.
Thursday we headed to Northpark for lunch, La Madeline of course, and a little shopping. K even got her first pair of big girl shoes. We picked J up from school on the way home and then headed to the park to play before dinner.
Friday Aunt Fonz and K headed back home after a fun week. I truly loved all of the company and help we had these last two month, but am glad our revolving door is closed for a while. It will be nice for it just to be the four of us and start to settle into somewhat of a routine.
C's smiles are getting bigger and bigger each day, her coo's are getting louder and she is already talking back to mommy! She discovers new things daily and she is so cute to watch when something new catches her eye.
