We said goodbye to Grandma and Grandpa this week and Miss C headed back to daycare after her weeks vacation hanging out with them. Mommy still misses G&G and the help they gave us for the two weeks they were here, I'm so grateful to have such wonderful in-laws who will pretty much do anything for us.
Not sure what was going on with C the last couple of weeks when it was bottle time but she is back to drinking her bottles and finishing them, good thing because throwing formula away is like throwing away gold! Someone also decided this week that she now likes the Mum Mum crackers and goes to town on them and makes a mess all over her highchair! Miss C also got her first taste of ice cream while we were eating at Chick-fil-A, I thought about not giving it to her but then figured what the heck! She wasn't sure about it probably because it was cold but took quite a few small spoons of it, with ice cream taste on her palate now no wonder she still doesn't like green beans!
We spent a pretty quiet Labor Day weekend at home hanging out at the local malls strolling around and utilizing the free things each mall has to offer. It is still pretty hot that unless you are in water you do not want to be outside and then if you are they mosquitoes are pretty bad still so inside we stay. C got to ride in the stroller for the first time without her car seat and lounged with her feet up as we strolled. She is seeing things a whole new way now. Pretty soon it is going to be time to move her out of the bucket all together and into a big girl car seat.
Daddy was getting tired of having a shower himself while bathing C so we moved her into the blow up big girl tub to help contain the water mess she makes! Another kid who loves the water and will hopefully love swimming as much as her sister. Of course J now wants to take a bath with C, good thing we have a big garden tub where dad can give two baths at the same time (and not have to fight the 2 year old to take a bath any longer!).
