This week C started transitioning to the 6-12 month side of the room at school. With her developmental progress the last week or so she is getting bored with the babies that just sit around. She is on the move and is ready to play and interact (and get into trouble) with the bigger babies. Her days of laying and hanging around are over, she is active and keeps busy just like her sister.
There is no turning your back on this kid now, she is scooting across the house and has even taken off after me a few times to follow me down the hall. We are still army crawling, with maybe a real crawl or two mixed in. Her little hands are getting their work out on the wood floors which is also a good indication for mommy that someone is on the move! Unless she is confined to her highchair she goes after the iPad (another one addicted to electronics at an early age) and we are playing the knock the iPad down game now when we are talking to family.

J and C are playing more and more with each other every day. They love watching Baby Einstein's together (and I don't know what it is about the duck that cracks both of them up) and C has become very interested in J's princesses which is already leading to whining and not wanting to share!
Changing her diaper is becoming a mission which daddy is ready to pull his hair out from. Someone can't stay still and just wants to roll over and giggle at you, all good except for when there is poop! She continues to be very vocal (wonder where that has come from, it's not like we are a quiet family) and she has started to bang her hand on the table while eating to get J's attention to play peek-a-boo with her.

We introduced a three course dinner this week to include a main meal (she likes turkey and rice and chicken and apples), veggie and a fruit. She is better at feeding herself puffs (and mmm's as she eats them) and most are now ending up in her mouth and not in the hair chair or stuck to her chin! She isn't a big fan of yogurt melts just yet, need to keep trying those.
Nana and PopPop are doing the countdown!!! Can't wait to see this little monkey in action!!! Love our Dallas Dolls!!! XO
