Week 31

This was a big week in C's book. She turned seven months and is just on overload with learning/doing new things.

We started the week with helicoptering and scooting around on the floor but by the end of the week she was full on army crawling everywhere and even took a couple of real crawls on her hands and knees (I think I counted to four before she decided it was easier to crawl on her belly). Anything now left on the floor is fair game and her sister is already starting to get annoyed at her stealing things she is working on, she better get used to that! You turn your back and she is clear across the room! She has also started to pull up onto her knees when she is at her activity cube and is trying to pull herself up into a standing position. I'm going to have to pull out the pack and play for at times in the living room but know she isn't going to be a happy camper when she gets put in there!

We've moved onto eating veggies mum mum's and she is making the mmm sound when she see's you pull out the package. She is also finally eating the puffs and she opens her mouth like a little bird for you to feed them to her. She plays with them on her tray but hasn't quite mastered putting them in her mouth just yet and if you don't get them in quick enough she let's you know it! Definitely not a quiet child!

Daddy came home on Tuesday night all excited from picking up the kids. He quickly exclaimed guess what C did and I have witnesses. She was saying da da da da da when he went to pick her up. I am the one pregnant for 10 months, endure labor and this is how she repays me! At least it isn't consistent just yet but she definitely says it. And you better believe I am working on ma ma ma ma ma!
