We got somewhat back into a routine this week after the holidays only to have off for new years! We celebrated a quiet NYE at home, I made my sisters short ribs recipe which Miss C loved! Give the kid beef (and strawberries) and she is a happy camper!
I think we solved her issue of waking up in the middle of the night. We moved C's crib into J's room (the warmest room in the house) and the girls are now slumbering together. C has slept like a rock since we have moved her and she has been warm. We also got a plus out of this in that J has to behave now when we put her to bed so that she doesn't wake up her sister! Nap time is an issue though, we tried to put them to nap at the same time and that didn't work, until we move J is napping in our bed.
C continues to enjoy playing with J's new toys more than hers. J's Doc McStuffins check-up center is her favorite, she loves the phone and likes to push it across the room and use it as a walker. She does like her See 'n Say, can pull the lever and make it go most of the time and tries to sing along to ei-ei-o. J's also helped to teach her the wheels on the bus. We've got a little song routine down pat now with all of the gestures she does!
Once again I can not get the videos to load correctly so you will need to click on the links to watch them.

Miss C also turned 11 months old this week. I know I sound like a broken record but the time has just flown by so fast this time around, if only I could rewind a few chapters or hit pause for a few more months. I don't think I am quite ready for her to be one and to start counting the months not the weeks.
Someone is a cookie monster just like her big sister and daddy. She is working on saying cookie and can sometimes get it out of her mouth, that is if she is patient enough and not just screaming when she sees the bag of cookies!
Here are the pictures from the week.
