This little girl is full of spunk and life! While I wish for her to grow up and lose her temper I don't wish for her to lose her free spiritness! I'm catching her more and more dancing and shaking her little hips, I've asked if she wants to go to dance class and she says no, she usually stops when she sees you looking at her, she is pretty modest! She also loves to sing in the car and surprises me with the songs she can belt out, she is usually pretty quiet and sings to herself but at times she gets all excited and starts screaming the song! I wish I was able to get more of this on video but as soon as she see me trying to tape her she goes cold turkey and stops.
School is great, having a great teacher makes going to school that much more fun! Her teacher is like a grandma figure to the kids and they adore her. While she has her lessons and her plans she goes off what the kids feel like that day and somewhat lets them lead. She reminds us they are only three (a few are already four) and they have their whole life ahead of them to follow strict rules, her class is fun, but they have also learned a lot too! C is doing very well at writing her name and is starting to try and write the other letters of the alphabet. She can somewhat spell her last name, she gets the "e" and 'i" mixed up like most other people do, she is definitely too big for her britches most days, oh and she has known my phone number for months, she picked it up rather quickly when J was learning it. They had their annual trike-a-thon at school, someone is doing well on her bike and has put a new bike on her Christmas list, it has to be a purple Frozen one with a car seat for her baby. Let's see if Santa gets it right!
We took a quick trip to Miami this month and the girls got to see and play with their not so baby anymore cousin. He is totally a big kid and lets it be known! C loved riding on his roller coaster and on his Mickey power wheel, of course there was fighting over whose turn it was, everyone had reminder lessons on sharing toys! C and mommy did the monthly craft with my Mom's Group, we've kept pretty buys on our own this fall and it was the first event we made it too, C had a good time and made her thankful turkey, to hear what she was thankful for was a hoot, there was some coaxing by me for the answers that made it onto the feathers.
The week of Thanksgiving C came down with something, not sure what it was but we had it coming from both ends and she ended sleeping on the air mattress in our room a few nights. By Thanksgiving she was feeling better and got to enjoy the day. We watched the Macy's Parade while I cooked, C
was interested in a bit but was more interested in the early birthday presents J got to open and wanted to play with her. She wasn't that into the food spread I had, she did eat some turkey
and mommy was nice and made them some mac and cheese. It was a nice day
with family which is what we all needed.
We celebrated J's birthday at Disney (on her actual birthday) and while I thought C would be upset that J got to choose all we did she surprisingly wasn't. She had just had her special day at Disney and got to do all she wanted, she kept saying during the day that when it was her birthday she would get to pick everything she wanted to do, yes C you will (and J will have to go with it). She was so happy that she got a part in Enchanted Tales with Belle, she got to be Chip while J was Mrs. Potts and she bounced right up to play her part! She loved getting to "wake up" Jose in the Tikki Birds and danced her little heart out (and shook her little booty) at the dance party! She watched Baloo the entire time we were dancing and we he walked over towards her it was priceless to see her run away from him as fast as she could! We had a great day with no meltdown or tantrums from our threenager!
I can't recall if I have posted yet about the addition to the girls bathroom. Their pink shopping cart has become a permanent fixture in the bathroom, that's unless it is getting reloaded in the playroom. You see books are not enough to keep C content on her royal throne, instead she needs to sit and color for 10-15 minutes while she does her business. The first time she high tailed it into the bathroom with the shopping cart I just figured she was playing and then when I went into check on her realized what she was doing, well a few months later and this is still the norm! I have to explain to friends why the shopping cart is in there and get a chuckle from everyone I tell!
Here are the pictures from the month.
