C was still home from daycare again this week. The test results came back on Monday with what was some type of intestinal infection. She was put on medicine for 10 days and by Thursday she was eating and pooping better and even went to work with mommy for the day. Thank goodness for a great department where you can take your child to work with no questions asked. She was as good as gold and a little angel, except for when she had to take her medicine. Mommy even hardly saw her for the day because she was bouncing around from person to person in the baby shuffle around the office. C being in the office for the day made going to work enjoyable for everyone, maybe she'll visit more often.
I went up to the attic one day when I was hope and brought down some new activities to entertain C. She is already liking the bumbo seat and exersauser, although she is still a little small for the saucer and her feet don't touch the floor. She does good in it for about 5-10 minutes and then I think has had enough of dangling. I also pulled out the pink GT but that is still a few weeks away. Still no rolling over from her back to her belly, I think she is now just being lazy.
By Friday she was back to eating like a champ and downing eight ounce bottles at a time. Good thing because she needs to put back on some of the weight she lost. She definitely recognizes her bottle and gets excited to see it, she is also starting to show signs of wanting to hold the bottle. She might also be teething as her hands are constantly in her mouth and she is chewing on her fingers. Who knows but I guess we'll find out if things start to pop through sooner than later.
C got to go with mommy to take J to her swim lesson this week, J was a proud big sister and was showing and telling everyone that C same to see her. She also had her first tea party with J and mommy and even held her own cup!
Oh and we finally got her room mostly organized. We still need to put her name on the wall and fill the frame on the wall with her picture and hand/foot prints. It's progress and not a mess anymore!
Here are the pictures of the week.
Awwww. So nice to see some things I made for you as a baby in Claire's room :)
