Week 19

Someone FINALLY rolled over and just in time before Grandma had to go home. Made Grandma's trip all more worth it to see Miss C reach this milestone! Hopefully now that she can roll both ways she'll get more comfy at night and sleep better!

Wednesday Miss C headed back to daycare and her teachers were happy to see her again, hopefully she won't be out again anytime soon! She is such a sweet little angel and they were missing their little sugar plum. She got to show off her new accomplishment at school and  show them that she has found the screams in her vocal range. The piercing sounds have started (all in delight) and I forgot the shrieks a little one can let out! She is also doing really well in the exersaucer and putting her weight into standing up, she is clearly letting us know that she wants to be a big girl (another one that is going to be too big for her britches!). While we sheltered J from the TV (except for Baby Einstein's) until she was almost one, this one is already addicted to the TV and laughs at Mickey Mouse and Clover from Sofia.

Thursday Uncle Danny arrived into Big D to spend a long weekend with us, well really with Daddy to watch as many World Cup games as they could pack into five days. Miss C had her first BBQ visit, this time not to our usual BBQ spot but to the Katy Trail Ice House up in Plano, we sat on the patio, had some good BBQ, drank some beer and watched soccer (while trying to entertain Miss C and Miss J).

Sunday was Father's Day and we just hung out at home watching soccer. We introduced Miss C to some cereal for the first time though she wasn't as much of a fan as J was the first time she tried it. Oh well, we'll just continue to give it to her and one day she will realize it ain't half bad, and better than the soy formula she is now getting. And we forgot to take a Father's Day pic so we got this one after everyone had a bath and were in their jammies.
