We hit the 5 month milestone this week. Time has gone so much faster with the second kid, sometimes I want to hit the rewind button and go back and relive some of the best days from the beginning. With so much going on it is hard to remember what it was like five months ago, thank goodness for my obsession with picture taking and videoing. Finding time to keep up with the blog is hard but I know if I stop I will regret it once day...so I plow on!
With the bumpers in her crib Miss C is sleeping like a champ and we aren't hearing a peep out of her at night. She's an early and chipper riser like her mommy and is content hanging out in her crib with her wubbie and Baby Einsteins aquarium until daddy is ready to come in, get her ready for school and give her bottle. She allows us to do what we need to and then tend to her...princess easy button (or perfect) for sure.
We added pears to her palate this week. She is liking her cereal so much more that I tried to add in breakfast over the long weekend but she wasn't interested in food in the morning, we'll try again next weekend. Need to get her eating breakfast so that she can start eating cereal at school. They finally put her sign on her crib at school that indicates she can roll both ways and is allowed to sleep on her tummy, big girl!
We've moved into size two diapers and are on the last leg of the three months clothes. The six month clothes are washed and ready to so, I just need to let the three month clothes go and put them away! Again, too many signs that someone is growing up to fast.
We had a quiet 4th of July. We spent the morning at the park, watched soccer in the afternoon and then went out for a burger for dinner. Miss C saw no fireworks and was long asleep by the time we heard them start around out house. The swing and play mat are officially done and someone has graduated to playing in a jumperoo now, she got her first own thing that Miss J didn't have. She has grasped the jumping concept pretty quickly and can spend a good 30 minutes in here playing.
And a beautiful 'Princess Easy Button' she is!!!
