Week 23

C has to be the happiest baby on the block. She is always smiling, melts your heart with her toothless grim and cheers us up after a hard day at work! She's can early riser like her mom and is up most days by 6:15 or so. She is content staying in her crib rolling around, talking (more like happy screams) and turning on her music that keep her entertained until we are ready to come in and get her. Not sure what has gotten into her but she has woken up a couple of this this week in the middle of the night talking and blabbering away, and then she would fall back asleep. As long as I don't have to get up out of bed she can do as she pleases!

She is doing well eating her cereal and fruits. We introduced peaches this week and the first time she tried them was expected, she had to decide if she liked them or not, not as sweet as what she has had so far. Once she decided she did she woofed down the bowl and probably could have eaten more! You can't get the spoon quick enough in her mouth nor can I take a bite of my food without her fussing at me!

She got her ears pierced this week at the doctor and we caught her up on her one shot she missed when she was having her tummy issues. Even though I had to take her by myself, as it is with everything the second time around I'm finding out, the experience was much better and mommy was relaxed and ok with holes being put into her ears. She took them like a champ and after crying for a few minutes she took her bottle and everything was well.

She is doing the clearing her throat thing to get your attention and then laughs when you look at her. Daddy can get her riled up and make her laugh like a hyena the way he tickles her. She is starting to sit-up well on her own and I pulled out some of the bigger interactive toys for her to play with on the floor.

I've been promising Pop Pop a pink car picture for a few week so here it is (and a side-by-side at that of them at the same age, C looks so much older to me than J did at the same age).
