Week 24

J has been part of our life now for 168 days (not counting the time she spent in my belly) and we are approaching the half year mark in a couple of weeks. Next thing I know it's going to be November and she'll be turning one. She brings so much joy into our lives and we are having so much fun with her.

We had a big milestone this week, which has already gotten not one but two dedicated posts earlier. There was no holding off on her first cereal experiences! She wasn't too sure about the plain cereal but as soon as we added the bananas she was much happier!

As you have probably already noticed mommy's birthday/Mother's Day present arrived, my new camera! And LOTS of pictures have been taken already. I better take a ton of pictures to get my money's worth! Speaking of pictures, J also had her first school picture this week. She got dressed cute with a bow. Picture to be posted when we get it, probably in a couple of weeks.

J also had her first trip to the park with Auntie K and T. She slept through most of it but it was nice to be outside. When we were packing up we even spotted a ladybug on her stroller, definitely a sign!

In the last few weeks she has gotten so much more aware of thing and is starting to really reach and grab. She is also doing well at starting to sit up on her own. She is just at such a fun age now and her little attitude is starting to develop. When she is done, she is DONE! She is sleeping great and sometimes has a hard time making it to 7pm because she is so tired from school.

Click here for a bunch of pictures from the week!
