As you can tell someone is sitting up pretty well by herself these days. She still tumbles but she can hold her own for a while. Our baby is turning into a big girl! And someone has definitely gotten more hair in the last few weeks, and it is totally red like her daddy's!
Peaches and carrots were introduced this week. She hasn't met a food yet she doesn't like. That's because we haven't introduced her to peas just yet!
This was a really hard week and I am so glad that I had J (and of course F) to come home to since I wasn't able to be with the rest of the family in Miami. I am so very thankful that my Gram had the opportunity to meet her great granddaughter back in February when we were home. I will cherish the moment when she met J for the first time and the couple of pictures we took. I only wish we would have been able to capture the four generations, there isn't always a next time and sometimes we take that for granted. I hope that when I am 88 that I am in as good of shape as Gram was up until a week ago, it is a shock (even though I have yet to see her, but will get to in a couple of weeks) to see a person go from one extreme to the next in a day. I am not a very religious person but please just pray that God will do what is best for her. Love you Gram.

ReplyDeleteI know how hard it is to be away from your family when things like this happen. Thinking of you and prayers for your Gram.
