This week C turned 10 months old. Where is the time going? We are in single digits for the number of weeks left until her first birthday. The week was crazy and mommy almost forgot to take her pictures, but after she had a bath, I got her dressed up and started shooting away! She is a ham for the camera, smiles when she sees it (the flash makes her close her eyes so I have to shoot many to get a few god ones) and has just recently started reaching and trying to grab my lens!
Grandma flew into town on Tuesday to watch the girls while mommy and daddy headed out of town for a few days alone and some peace and quiet without the kids! The kids got to play hookey from school while we were gone and hang out with Grandma and learn Portuguese (their educational lesson), and brought some Portuguese children's books so that daddy can start reading to them. Grandpa surprised everyone and flew into town on Friday night, he get's jealous when he doesn't get to see the girls, I called him Grandma's baby sitter so that she could get some things done around the house. It's hard when you have the two of them all by yourself for an extended period of time, they are EXHAUSTING but worth every minute of it.
