Week 45

Grandma was here with us through Wednesday, mommy and daddy came back from Florida Monday night, saw Grandpa for all of 10 minutes before we had to go to work and then he left to go to  back to Miami. Grandma got one last day with the girls (she had the choice to send them to daycare but wanted them to stay home) and we celebrated her surviving with beer and burgers later that night. I am lucky to have the in-laws I do and truly appreciate all they do for us, I'm not sure how we would survive being this far away without knowing we can call them pretty much at any moment and they will hop on a plane.

Someone has a sweet tooth like her big sister and daddy! She yells as the bag of toddler cookies, that sits in a basket on the table, until you give her one when she is done with her meal. This week mommy was nice and gave her treats with more taste, a real chocolate chip cookie and her first Bis which she loved, can't you tell by her face!

Mommy was crazy just like I have been the last three years and went and waited in the Santa line for an hour and a half to get a screaming picture of the kids! Miss C liked story time and was OK with Santa until her big sister went crazy and started to scream! She was a good shopper and fell asleep after the visit while we walked the mall and finished our Christmas shopping. She is definitely go with the flow kid, unlike with J when she was little (and it is mostly our fault for making her nap all the time at home) she is more adaptable to being out during nap time.

I don't recall writing about her peek-a-boo skills but they are mastered. In her attempt to cover her eyes she covers every other part on her head to play the game, which at dinner time results in a smiley, greasy mess and a variety of food in her hair (which is getting very long). The girls play better with each other every day, well that is if J is in a good mood and wants to share her toys! She thinks C's toys are for her too, I can't wait until C starts taking them away from her! Still no signs of walking by herself and she walks like a robot with her walker.

Here are the pics from the week.
