Week 46

This kid has a very short temper and try and take something away from her, specifically an electronic, and she goes crazy, the start of Dr. Jeckel! It's actually quite funny to watch and I have to admit that we sometimes egg it on! Clearly she knows what she wants at a young age! I love it when she is on the floor, she doesn't like something and she face plants into the floor and flails her arms (I need to get that on video!) and beats the ground until she gets what she wants or has had enough.

C continues to eat very well and tried broccolini this week. I didn't think she was going to like it but she loved it and wanted more. Speaking of more, she is definitely signing more (which is more like patty cake), now I'm trying to her to sign please. I haven't been good this time around with the sign language, I did a little with J, so she must have picked up the more at school.

She is pretty much walking with anything she can these days, the furniture and her toys are constantly being pushed from one side of the room to the other. She is transferring while walking from object to object, and is sort of letting go and reaching for you if you are sitting on the floor, she mostly lets go and falls face first towards you. She does well holding onto your fingers and walking, even if you are just holding her with one hand. I think she could walk if she really wanted to since she has good balance. We are also starting to notice that she has herself in many new positions while playing on the floor. At times it looks like she is just going to pop right up and stand up all by herself without holding onto anything.

She loves twinkle twinkle little star (which I also need a video of) and watches as she opens and closes her hands to simulate the star. Even her hi's and bye-bye's are turning into the start motion. J loves to sing to C, which sometimes is a benefit when she is having a temper, she hears J start singing to her and she stops! She might be out of tune (pretty badly) but her sister loves her singing!

She is just getting too big too fast. Where has almost a year gone?
