It was another great month and we did lots of things! We went with my Mom's Group to the Cookie Cottage down in Sarasota and decorated cookies one morning. C of course was more interested in eating them all instead of decorating them, mommy helped her ice some of her cookies and she left with a much smaller box than J! We went twice to Michael's with friends and did arts and craft projects, the first day all kids went and they decorated owls with all kinds of things mommy doesn't allow in the house and made clay animals (I think C made a squirrel) which melted in the car, oops! The second day while the big sisters were in camp we went back and made crowns and bracelets, C loved using glue and scissors (but isn't a fan of messy fingers), although being a lefty mommy had a hard time teaching her to cut. She is quickly going to learn to get over being messy and I am sure she will have lots of fun messy things to make at school in a few week!
We went with Nana to the dollar movies and saw the Minion Movie. She really go into this movie and trying to be a "minion" herself, I'm surprised she didn't spill her popcorn all over the place for the goofball she was being. She was hysterical to watch during the movie, she spoke gibberish back to the minions, laughed when no one else laughed, kept spitting and screaming "banana" like they do, I really wish daddy would have been with us, he would have gotten a kick out of it! We went to 7-11 for national Slurpee day but the girls were not fans, I hadn't had one in years so it was a nice treat for me. C and I had a few mommy and C lunches while J was at camp. She has finally become a fan of Pei Wei and is her new place she wants to go, she loves getting the fortune cookies at the end (and she got one where the word to learn in Chinese was "banana", how appropriate). Her least favorite part of the month was the trip to the dentist, just like last time she didn't behave and only got a quick look in her mouth.
This kid has a laugh that is contagious and a smile that melts your heart. She always wants to be tickled and since seeing the Minions Movie she is walking around spewing at everyone and saying banana, and laughing at herself while doing so, I see someone being the class clown! She is my fashionista and wants to wear dresses all the time these days, especially as her pajamas go, if her Ariel nightgowns are dirty she isn't a happy camper! She is also my little helper and wants to help with everything she can, she drags the stool around the house getting her fingers into everything she can, maybe I should teach her to clean the toilets?

Speaking of toilets someone is doing very well with her potty training and she is so proud to tell you that she is "potty training" and gets really excited about it, she is also super excited to pick out her underwear and must change them 2-3 times a day. The pee pee accidents are becoming far less and my container of M&M's almost needs a refill. She is doing pretty good with going poop and has gotten to pick out some potty prizes, puzzles, stickers, new coloring book, Nemo and Dory bath toys, mommy is about ready to make a chart and make her earn a prize instead of getting one each time! We haven't been to the restroom much in public yet but she had no accidents on the way to Miami and went like a big girl in the McDonald's bathroom. Since we've started potty training we are making her potty before she goes for a nap and to bed. She is completely dry when she wakes up 10+ hours later, such a good and big girl! We are officially DONE with diapers, I returned two packages and traded them for Pull-Ups.
Her swimming is going great, she thinks she is an Olympic swimmer and can swim the entire pool. Forget wearing the puddle jumper anymore, she wants nothing to do with it and wants to be totally independent. She monkey walls around the pool and lets go and swims when she wants, by the end of the month her kicks were much stronger. She is doing great jumping in, turning and swimming back to the wall (mommy has also thrown her in the middle of the pool and she kicks right back). Our pool is a little hard to climb out of but she knows to monkey walk back to the steps. We went to Nana and Pop Pop's a couple of days to swim in their big pool, the girls had a blast swimming and showing their skills off to the other ladies in the pool, I can see the sparkle in their eyes when they swim and how proud they are of themselves, mommy is pretty proud too of what they can do.
This kid is a diva and I think she knows it. I got her to start posing for the camera to allow me to take pictures of her and make it fun. Now every time she sees the camera she poses and thinks she is hot stuff. The girls did a photo shoot and she worked the bridge like a run way, we had to contain ourselves from laughing at her, she's a hoot! She was my guinea pig at B's party testing out my little photo area, everyone at the party got a kick out of her poses, especially when she turned, planted her hands against the wall, kicked her foot up and looked back and smiled, thanks to Nana for her step-by-step on how to pose, one of those priceless moments!
The month ended with a trip to Miami for B's first birthday. C got to experience her first Arbetter's hot dog and after eating one wanted a second! She had a great time playing with her cousin (and all his toys) and enjoyed his little party, especially since the theme was Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, right up her alley. I think her favorite part of the party was eating cup after cup of Aunt Boo's crack mix that was loaded with sugary stuff they don't normally get! We took a morning trip to Matheson to swim and play, although there wasn't much swimming, just mainly digging in sand and eating crack mix. The trip was quick for mommy and daddy, the girls however stayed for a week to hang out in the 305.
Here are the pictures from the month.
