Week 33

J continues to try new things and like them. This week she had pancakes, ice cream, turkey with sweet potato, vanilla custard and peach cobbler. Most of it still baby food but I am sneaking in a little bit of real people food. She really liked the pancakes, must be all the Sunday morning pancakes I had while pregnant!

I went ahead and washed and organized all of her 9 month clothes. The 6 month still fit her but she has so much summer stuff in 9 months that I am afraid if she doesn't start wearing it she never will. You'll start to see her in some new outfits, just like this cute romper which has a watermelon on the butt!

We missed swim lessons this week. Someone has allergies like her daddy and they were acting up pretty bad. Runny eyes and a nose are no fun. But mommy did spend the week after work doing something I haven't done in almost 8 years, teach a swim lesson. After all these years I still have the touch. My bestie K has done so much for us and given us so much baby stuff it was the least I could do for her and T-man and I really a good time and it brought back so many memories of my teaching days. By Wednesday it "clicked" that he could swim and by Friday he was a little over confident in his swimming abilities! He is no Mark Spitz but definitely a fish in the making. I can't wait for next summer and J to really lean to swim. I had such success with T that I might just teach her myself.

Not much else to report on this week. We still have a scooter, not a crawler. Click here for the few pictures of the week, all in the same outfit!
