Week 35

We had a pretty busy weekend with Uncle D in town. We did lots of eating and drinking by Sunday night we couldn't look at food.

Saturday morning we had swim lesson, our little fish continues to love the water and is starting to somewhat kick her feet, although she is more interested in splashing the water with her hands. Next summer this kid is going to learn to swim!

After swim lessons we came home, J took a nap and when she woke up we headed to lunch at our favorite place, Hard . Everytime we go to there F has to text a picture of our tray to D. We get the typical "you're killing me" reply back. Of course we ordered (and ate) too much food and were in a food coma for the afternoon. Saturday night J had a babysitter while the adults went to the Flying Saucer for some munchies and beer. I don't remember when the last time was that we got home after 11pm, and was I feeling it when J woke up at 6:15am the next morning!

Yes, this is all in her crib on a daily basis!
Sunday we were going to go to the Farmer's Market and check out another BBQ place but we decided we had enough. Instead we took Uncle D to our breakfast spot just down the street. Crossroads Diner has become a staple for us a couple of weekend morning a month. What else do you do when you are wide awake at 8am other than go to breakfast! We just hung out for the rest of the day, the boys went out to have some beer and then it was time for D to head back to the MIA. Always a good time when D comes to visit.

Not much more to report on the rest of the week. J turned 8 months and is changing so much daily now. Everyday it seems that she is turning more into a big girl and is becoming less of a baby. Kind of sad on one hand but exciting on the other. She is much better at feeding herself puffs and yogurt melts, Ginger sits patiently waiting for something to drop on the floor but not much does! I need to start thinking (very low key) of her first birthday party...taking suggestions???

Here are the pictures from the week.
