How is this smile not contagious??? I can't stop writing and talking about how happy this kid is and the giant smiles she is always giving us. She cracks me up when I pull out my camera and at almost six months of age is already posing and smiling like she is a pro model! We've hit the jackpot in the kid department with these two little misses.
Aunt Boo and Uncle Mikey came to visit us this week, and between their visit and my in-laws visiting in a few weeks, Miss C has given up part of her room and will be slumbering with Miss J until the end of August. For now they need their space and not to wake each other when one coughs or Miss C can't find her wubbie, but the day will come when I won't be able to keep them from sleeping in each others beds! Who knows, J might not want to move back to her room after this month.
Aunt Boo, aka the family bow maker, brought Miss C her own bow box full of goodies. While I've been slacking in the headband/bow department I have no choice now not to accessorize this kid! She looks mighty cute in a head squeezer (what Pop Pop calls bands) and soon we should be able to get a tiny bow in her growing hair. Aunt Boo we need more bows though, we've lost a bunch you had made for J. These girls are more worthy than the Walmart bows mommy buys them :)
We had a great visit while they were here. Uncle Mikey is clearly a baby/kid magnet which makes Aunt Boo just a tad bit jealous (hence why he never gets to stay the entire time so that she can have her time with the girls and be their favorite). He eats up their cuteness and I'm sure Miss C will have him wrapped around her finger just as much as Miss J does. Of course we had to have our usual BBQ (at a new place) while they were here. We also went to the Children's Aquarium at Fair Park. I was too busy snapping pictures of J that I got none of C except for a family picture. Someone should have really been napping while we visited but she is too nosy and needed to participate in the action. I want to think she enjoyed looking at the aquariums and what was inside them. But then this kid laughs at everything so maybe she enjoyed seeing her reflection in the glass more!
Not much new to report this week. She is sitting better by herself and she is trying to pull herself up when she topples over. We probably need to lower the crib soon just in case she sits up by herself sooner than we think she will.
Here are the pictures from the week. No videos, we were too busy!

Love it when you guys are together! Claire get more beautiful each growing day! Her smile is infectious ! ... Bring on the slumber parties!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteC has way more hair than her cousin K!! Aunt Boo probably has another year before she has to make K a bow box... And I love the giggle pics- she is so stinkin cute!! Wish I could see her with her big sis next week!!
