Week 28

We had a few more quiet days this week at home before Hurricane J was due to land. We dealt with someone not wanting her bottle much this week. Not sure if that she is just more interested in the food, I would be since its tastier, or maybe if she is teething. Never the less it has been a fight most of the week to get her to eat! We did try and give her Mum Mum crackers again although she isn't really a fan, maybe I should just move on to puffs and see if she takes to those.

J, Grandma and Grandpa arrived on Thursday and after lunch we went and picked up C from school. I wish I would have had my camera out to get C's reaction to seeing J. It was priceless and because  there was so much commotion it didn't bring me to tears at the time but when I think about it now it does! C started flapping her little arms and squealing with excitement when she saw J come into her room. It's amazing that at six months of age the reaction she had and I think realized that she hadn't seen her sister in a while, so cute!

She also had her six month check-up this week. She is doing great, growing on schedule, she is up to 16.9 pounds (50%) and 27" (85%). She also got three shots and  took them like a champ. She did have a little fever the next day but by the weekend was back to her happy self. 

The girls got to hang out with Grandma and Grandpa while mommy and daddy took a much needed staycation to the Four Seasons, don't worry, there will be no more babies from this shop! They hung out, played and were spoiled with love while we were gone!
