Week 26

C got to skip school on Uncle Mikey's last day in Dallas and hang out with us. We took at trip to the mall to buy Nana's b-day present and had lunch at La Madeline (can't come to Dallas without that part of the menu). Miss C gave Miss J a run for her money in the Uncle Mikey department. They day these two have kids they better have a boy or I know two little girls who will probably be VERY jealous!

Miss C got to spend some quality Aunt Boo time with lots of snuggles and kisses and then it was time for Aunt Boo and Miss J to head to Miami leaving Miss C an only child for two weeks! The life of only having one kid again is a distant memory that has been jogged pretty quickly.  How easy it is to get ready and leave for work early (with a cooperating baby in tow). How easy it is to have a kid in bed by 7:15pm and by 8:30pm you think it is 10pm and you are ready for bed! How easy is it to not have to be home for nap time and continue your errands with a sleeping baby in her car seat! I could go on and on but I won't because we do miss sister and you can tell that C does too.

Not much new to report this week, sitting up keeps getting better. I've scheduled her next professional photos for early September when she should be sitting up really well by herself. No new foods on the menu this week, mommy needs to take a trip to Target to restock the baby food cabinet.

This was also the week of the 6 month milestone! How did she celebrate? Having her mommy and daddy to herself , pancakes for breakfast (not to much longer and she'll get to taste them for herself) and hitting up the outlet mall. She is such an easy go with the flow baby!
