Week 29

Miss C spent the week playing hooky from school and hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa at home. Good thing because she came down with a fever and what was probably a virus (as did almost everyone else in the house) for a few days. Even when sick this kid is a happy camper! This was a crazy week at work for me so I was glad to not have to be in charge of the house or kids for the week and very much appreciate all that my in-laws did while they were here. At the end of the day all I wanted to do was have kids to snuggle and that is what I did (well and drink!).

C was introduced to apricots and blueberries this week, both of which she likes. She has started to gag at the green beans so we have tabled those for a while and just sick to the orange veggies, as I said when J was little she is going to turn orange as most of what she eats is that color! You can't feed this kid fast enough and we are having to give her fruit last or else she does not want to eat her cereal and veggie, I don't blame her. We are trying to work on the sippy cup but she has no interest.

When playing on the floor is she trying to move out of the sitting position without just tumbling over. When she falls back she is almost able to set herself back up, strong tummy muscles! The last few days she has gotten to her knees and is rocking like she is ready to go, and is like this when we go to get her from her crib. She scoots around pretty well if there is something in sight that she wants (mainly J's toys!) or just rolls to get to it. It won't be long before this kid is mobile. It's almost time to re-baby proof some things again. Oh, and we have another quiet child!
